Position Overview: As a Commission-Based Sales Associate at GnomeXcursions, you'll have the unique opportunity to work in a hybrid role that combines on-site sales at excursions and events with remote tasks. You'll connect with festival attendees and camping enthusiasts in person and virtually, showcasing our diverse product range, offering expert advice, and ensuring our customers have the best gear for their outdoor escapades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage festival-goers and outdoor enthusiasts both on-site and online to understand their needs and preferences.

  • Provide expert guidance on our extensive product line, tailoring recommendations to each customer.

  • Demonstrate product features, benefits, and usage to potential buyers.

  • Maintain an inviting and organized on-site sales booth or area at events.

  • Clearly communicate pricing, promotions, and special offers to drive sales.

  • Accurately process sales transactions using our point-of-sale system.

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and returns with professionalism and courtesy, including remote support when necessary.

  • Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Stay informed about outdoor gear trends and continuously expand product knowledge.

  • Adhere to company policies, including safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • While previous sales experience is preferred, it's not mandatory.

  • A genuine passion for outdoor activities, festivals, and camping.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and online.

  • Proactive and customer-centric attitude.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working outdoors during on-site events and proficient in remote work tools and communication.

  • Weekend availability is essential, as festivals and outdoor events typically occur on weekends.
